Today Karen Gill, our PCT Coordinator, came to observe me while I taught 9U. This was the first lesson of a new unit - Probability.

Reflection

One big piece of feed forward that Karen had for me is to lower the pitch of my voice. This will help the students to hear me as it is easier to hear lower pitched tones. I feel like this is something that I have been constantly working on this year. I find it is really easy for me to fall back into my "high-pitched" tone that I naturally speak in. Since this appraisal I have been consciously thinking about the pitch that I speak at and I have noticed the quicker reactions from my students in doing so.
