Welcome to my professional teaching portfolio and blog where I share all things teaching as I journey to become a fully registered teacher in Aotearoa New Zealand.

 

I am a mathematics, health, and physical education teacher embarking on the start of my teaching career.

 

In 2015 I completed a Master of Teaching and Learning (Secondary Education) through Massey University. Previously, I completed the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise (Physical Education) and Postgraduate Diploma of Sport and Exercise (Physical Education) through Massey University.

 

At the completion of my studies I was fortunate to gain a position teaching at Waiopehu College, Levin.

 

In this position I will be working solely in the mathematics department, teaching across years 9 to 11.

 

Throughout this site the term akonga has been used to define all learners in a variety of settings.
